2011 Honda Accord EX-L 4dr Sedan
Purchased my new Honda EX-L after researching the Infiniti G, Nissan Altima and Hyundai Sonata. Passed on the Infiniti due to cost and premium fuel. Was moving from my 2000 Nissan Maxima which I was disappointed with due to minor things like the sun glasses holder and arm rest breaking and other parts failing. Liked the look of the Sonata but unsure of reliability and resale value. Test drove the Accord and fell in love. The ride is great. Not sure why people are complaining about the seats. With the many seat settings I was able to find one that works perfect for me. The interior gives the feeling of riding in a high priced European car.

I Hope it keeps going and going.
I drive a lot, obviously...over 108,000 miles in 2.5 years. Mostly I drive my kids to and from parenting time-and of course work, so I need dependable transportation and safe most importantly! My Honda Accord has been great, just getting ready to do some major maintenance-hoping it will keep going strong to 300,000. I've never owned a car this long or for this many miles.

It Keeps Going & Going
My wife and I bought our first Honda Accord in 2000. It now has 193,000, has driven through 46 of 50 states and keeps on going. We bought a second Honda Accord in 2004 and it now has 101,000+ with no end in sight.

Indestructible Accord
My grandpa bought an Accord new in 1998, and almost 200,000 miles later it's still going. I own it now, and it gets driven across town almost every day for school and work. It's lived in the hot Arizona desert its whole life, and the constant sun and heat never phased it. Even with a V6, it does 29mpg mixed city/highway, and has more power than a lot of my friend's cars with less mileage. I will be buying a new truck soon, and my grandpa will be getting his car back, I can't wait to see how far this Accord continues to go! I have high hopes for it and know that it will hit 300,000.

I love my new 2008 Accord EX-L!
I went to yahoo auto and was reading some posts about people interested in
the accord and was surprised to find so many with negative things to say about the new 2008 accord. I saw some saying that the styling was old and not attractive (even though it looks like a new BMW 535i, Cadillac CTS and Acura RL combined), then I saw a woman who said that she heard accord had been known for transmission problems...news to me. This is my 3rd accord and haven't had any transmission problems yet. She said in the post that she went and bought a 2008 Malibu instead...well actually that car has more transmission problems than accord among other things. Then I saw someone who said they were unhappy about the way the car drives...mine drives great. And all for a reasonable price.

Well guess what, they're all wrong.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that in case anyone is interested in a 2008 Accord EX-L, to go for it. Its an excellent car, comfort, driving and styling. I have the leather seats and they are very comfortable and supportive.

I love my Accord !
I have had my 2002 Honda Accord SE for about 1 year now. And I absolutely love it. I bought it used but in VERY good condition. I have put a lot of miles on my car. And it still is an excellent car. I have not had any problems out of my Accord. I am a very picky person when it comes to spending my money on a car. I look at every little detail about a car before i buy it.(comfort, reliable, the way it drives, etc.) From the day I bought my Accord I have yet to have the least bit of problems with it. Sure it has its pros and cons. But definitely more pros than cons with the 2002 Honda Accord!

I Love my Accords !
We have two Honda Accords...both bought as used vehicles. One is a 1987 four dour and the other is a 1992 two door coupe. Because this falls under the heading of two door Honda, I'll write my opinions on that car, but suffice it to say I am very happy with both of our Honda's.

I bought this car (1992 Honda 2 door coupe)from my sister in 1998 who was buying a brand NEW Honda Accord. She sold it to me for a little under blue book value at the time, $7000. Although that is not a steal of a deal, I was thrilled to pay that, because I knew she had taken wonderful care of the car. It was in pristine condition, inside and out. At the time of my acquisition, it had only 70K miles on it.

What's not to love about the Honda accord? It's sharp looking, handles beautifully and the only repairs I've needed in the last two years were new tires and air conditioning recharge. My sister, who bought it brand new, reported buying a new battery once, and buying new tires once also. (Maybe OUR new tires were due to my husband's bad habits?)

Aside from little or no repair, our Accord has very nice amenities: power locks, power steering, power windows, and cruise control. The air conditioning is VERY cold and the heater works very well in the winter months.

Driving the car is fun too. The Honda Accord has excellent pick up and manuvers in the city quite well. Highway driving is a breeze too...the inside of the car is quiet and the ride is smooth.

As far as efficiency goes, we average 25 mpg in the city and about 32 mpg on the highway, and we are very happy with that.

I would highly recommend a Honda to anyone who is looking for one. If you're extraordinarily tall, you may have some trouble fitting into a two door coupe, so you may want to think about that. Also, if you have children in car seats, a four door Honda is obviously a better choice..but we have two kids (not in car seats though) and have managed quite well.

Accords are excellent quality cars, and they hold their value well. You can be sure my next purchase will be another Honda.
